MORE HOME VALUE

As the leading builder of More Home Value on the Gulf Coast we've saved millions of dollars for more than 2,000 home buyers. Now we can help you save thousands.

Here's how a Heritage Homes customer can save thousands:

Cost of Home*:
Heritage Savings: $27,800 - $48,800
Heritage Home: $142,100 Save $27,800 - $48,800 (see below)
Standard home builder: $190,900 Purchasing a comparable home from a standard home builder costs $48,800 more than building a Heritage home.
Previously owned home: $169,900 Purchasing a comparable previously owned home costs $27,800 more than building a Heritage home.

*Cost of lot for Heritage home: $28,900; cost of Heritage model used in this example: $113,200. Cost does not include real estate fees. The cost of lots and lot improvements will vary depending on location and improvements required for building.

Heritage Homes delivers more value. We do this by helping you select and create a unique combination of value that pays off for you and your family immediately and over the long term. We call this "Heritage Value." Heritage Value can include:

More Square Footage and Features

Heritage Value means more room and more features for your money.

In a comparison study with a comparable new home on a similar lot, the Heritage home was 25% less expensive. Heritage Value saves thousands of dollars in real estate fees, mark up charged by other builders on the lot and lot improvements on new homes. It also saves appreciation expected by the owners of used homes on their lots, improvements and homes.

Resale Value
The attractive, traditional appearance, quality construction and energy-efficient materials that are built into every Heritage home add to your resale value if you choose to sell your home.

Heritage Instant Equity
Heritage Instant Equity is the difference between what you pay for your home and the appraisal value when your new home is completed.

Typically, Heritage homes deliver substantial Instant Equity the day their new owners move in. Examples of recent Heritage Instant Equity include $28,000 from a Classic in Mobile County, Alabama, $45,500 from a Kingswood in Baldwin County, Alabama, and $31,500 from a Regency in Jackson County, Mississippi.

Value Choices
Your home's value to you is based on both "facts" and "feelings." Both are important. Today's homes are more than shelter. They are the accessibility of the location; the convenience of the design; the durability of the building materials; the efficiency of the heating and air conditioning systems; your flooring, cabinet and color selections; the appearance of the interior and exterior; and more. We are committed to helping you make the best value choices starting with the best plan for your family.

Appearance
Appearance or "curb" appeal is an important part of Heritage Value. Besides being efficient, Heritage homes look good and keep looking good. All-brick exterior walls, high pitch roofs, gables, large windows with shutters provide a traditional "look" that fits into all locations. Low maintenance materials and easy-to-use features such as windows that fold in for easy cleaning help you preserve the value of your home's appearance.

Heritage Value Satisfaction Service
Heritage Homes knows that value comes after you move in. After you have lived in your new Heritage home for approximately 90 days, our Satisfaction Manager will make an appointment to inspect it. He'll ask you about your experiences with your new home. Then he'll use our comprehensive Value Satisfaction Checklist to look for anything we need to do to make sure you are receiving the value you expected.

2-10 Limited Warranty and After Sale Service Warranty
Every Heritage home comes with the 2-10 Limited Warranty. The 2-10 is one of the most comprehensive and consumer-friendly new home warranties available. We are proud to provide it with every home we build. Using it is easy and simple. Ask to see a 2-10 brochure for details.

Heritage Construction Engineering
Your Heritage home isn't just constructed. It's engineered. The roof systems and construction components have been engineered to meet or exceed all local building codes. Roof trusses are pre-assembled to assure they meet Heritage Homes engineering standards.

Heritage Value Materials and Construction
All Heritage homes are build of quality building materials. Construction is by experienced professionals. The quality of the materials and work is reviewed at the framing stage and home completion stage. At these points, comprehensive checklists are used to demonstrate to you the value of the materials and labor. You will receive signed copies of these checklists.
