The large Family Room features a fireplace and an octagon tray ceiling in the middle of an area connecting to the Breakfast, Kitchen and Dining Room. The Master Bedroom is secluded because it is located behind the Kitchen and Laundry Room and is accessed by walking through a short hallway. The other three bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the house. Each bedroom has a large closet and shares a common hall bathroom. Manufactured by Owens-Corning, the new "Architectural Shingles" give roofs a beauty that is reminiscent of cottages roofed with wooden shingles. The shingles appear 50% thicker than standard three tab asphalt shingles.
This increased dimension breaks up the roof into a pattern of individual appearing shingles. Shadows cast by the higher dimension add even more beauty. The roof looks like it was built from hand laid individual wood shingles yet it retains all the wear and weather proof qualities of modern Owens-Corning shingles.
The new shingles feature a 30-year limited warranty.
