Joe Houk, Jr.
Joe Houk, Jr. "I’ve been with Heritage Homes for over 16 years now. They are a great company to work for and an equally great company to build with. With over 25 years in this business I have experienced most phases of the construction process. I find it very fulfilling to help people find the right home at a price they can afford. My job is to help people find the right home or change a home to fit their specific needs, work out the related price, prepare contracts, get blueprints ready, and help with financing when needed."

"I have a great deal of experience in home plan design. I tell people to find the plan closest to what they want, then sit down with me and tell me what they are really looking for. You would be surprised at how quickly this process is handled to the great satisfaction of our customers. If you need help with finding your plan, call and make an appointment. I can help!"

Frank Bolton
"Being a native Mobilian, I understand what folks want in a home in our Gulf Coast area".  Frank brings over 30 years of experience as a draftsman and civil engineering technician to his position as sales person for Heritage Homes. "I enjoy highlighting the features of our many plans to help customers decide what is important to them in their new Heritage Home."

Frank and his wife, Cheryl, have two daughters and a granddaughter.

Patti King
Patti King "My job is to assist our clients in finding the 'right loan' and helping them through the lending process, as well as, show our customers why they should build a Heritage Home. I try to get the customer to the right lender for their unique situation. There are so many solutions. Being a part of the solution is a real joy. I enjoy selling houses, especially when I know Heritage Homes is helping build value into their new home."

"Solving problems is part of what we do.  Don't let worries about where you will get a mortgage loan stop you from choosing the home you want.  We will introduce you to the lenders we work with and help you get the information you need.  Often we can work out solutions to problems."

Patti attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She works in Sales, and has been with Heritage Homes for 9 years.

Frank Lott, IIIFrank Lott, III
"I have grown up in the construction business.  I have been a part of just about every job at Heritage Homes.  It is a wonderful feeling to help someone build a home they are truly proud of.  This business keeps me excited because every day is different. It was an honor to take over as president for my father. Heritage Homes is full of great people that all help contribute to deliver more value. I'm proud of that.

Frank is married with two young sons. He is a board member of the Home Builders Association of Metro Mobile.

George "Tim" Lovvorn
Tim Lovvorn"I've been with Heritage Homes since its very inception. You might say I grew up with Heritage Homes. I work with people to make sure the lots are ready and help the other builders when they need assistance. This company has always put the customer first. As the Vice President of Construction , it's my job to make sure we don't forget that. Not that with the great builders we have, that's much of a problem. I'm always available to help out a customer if they run into a problem or have something they don't understand."

Tim is married and has a grown son and daughter who have both graduated from college.

Woody Godwin
Woody Godwin "I've been a builder with Heritage Homes for 8 years.  I really enjoy building a home from the ground up -- and watching the owners become more excited about their new home as we make progress.  I enjoy explaining the process so they can see for themselves the value they receive when they build a Heritage home."

Woody is a native and lifelong resident of Mobile.

Candice Norwood
Candice Norwood "My job as controller at Heritage Homes is to make sure all the paperwork runs smoothly and to keep the books in order. I also handle the company's payroll and billing. My work, which allows our sales department and builders to focus on our customers, is my way of helping Heritage Homes provide more of everything to our customers."

Candice and her husband, Jimmy are long-time Mobilians and they have one son. They enjoy most all outdoor activities -- especially softball and the beach.

Byron Hart
Byron Hart "I may have the most unique job in the homebuilding industry.  My job is to make sure our customers get more value after the closing.  A few weeks after the closing, I contact customers to set up an appointment to do our Satisfaction Inspection.  During the inspection, I make sure everything is right, review how to maintain the home, review the Home Buyers 2-10 Warranty Program and Heritage Homes Warranty Service.  One of the most satisfying aspects of my work is that during the Satisfaction Inspection many customers tell me about friends they have referred to Heritage Homes.  That makes me proud of our entire organization."

Byron is affectionately known as "Chief".  He served for 22 years in the U.S. Navy rising to the rank of chief petty officer (CPO).  He knows how to make sure things are done right.  During his navy service he supervised engine room crews on large sophisticated navy ships.  Byron has been with Heritage Homes for 10 years. He is a skilled woodworker and enjoys building furniture in his spare time.

Ron Johnson

“I really enjoy seeing the homes when they’re finished. There’s something about watching a home go from an empty lot to a finished Heritage Home that gives you a good feeling. I also enjoy working with the customers. I like when I’m able to answer their questions and make them happy. Heritage Homes cares about their employees and customers. It makes working for Heritage Homes enjoyable.”

Ron is a native Mobilian. He lives here with his wife Genevieve.

Larry Saltee
Larry Saltee “What impresses me most about Heritage Homes is the teamwork – how everyone here works towards the same goal of getting our customers into their new homes. As Production Manager, I work with our customers, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the process running smoothly."

Larry comes to Heritage Homes with a degree in construction management and several years of experience in overseeing projects.

Larry is an avid fisherman. He enjoys all the recreational fishing opportunities here. He's married with a young daughter.

Brian Armstrong

“I’m the person the customers talk to from the beginning of the building process, until the house is completely finished. The great thing about working for Heritage Homes is that they have a streamlined construction program. It is so fine-tuned that things always run smoothly. The organization makes the process much easier for us, and for the customers. Another thing I love about my job is completing a home and knowing that I have a completely satisfied customer.”

Brian and his wife Erin live in Baldwin County with their two sons, Aaron and Graham.

Lashanda Joiner
Lashonda Joiner "I worked in banking for over 10 years, so I have a lot of experience in helping customers--and with paperwork. At Heritage Homes, `I work with the sales department and the builders to obtain all the paperwork needed to build a home. Then I work with the homeowner, their Heritage builder, and the lender to make sure their home gets closed in a timely manner. The services I provide are part of how Heritage Homes makes the process more smooth and pleasant for our customers. It's another way we help our customers get more of everything in their home building experience."

Amy Allen
Amy Allen "My job is to order building supplies and services for every Heritage Home we build. I love to 'get it right' for customers -- the right materials and the right tradesmen for each home." Amy Allen handles all the purchase orders to make sure that the materials are available when the Heritage Homes builder needs them. Amy also works with the builders to schedule all the Heritage Homes. It can get complicated, but the schedule is rewarding because you can see how your hard work pays off every week. Clanton Miller

“I’ve spent most of my adult life in the construction business. My father was a builder, so I’ve grown up in the business. I think building homes is more of an art form than a job. It’s taking a stack of materials and watching it transform into a home someone can live in for the rest of their lives. Often, for a customer, a home is the single biggest investment that they’ll have to make, and they want to put that investment with someone they can trust. Heritage Homes offers two things to their customers: value, and a tradition of building a good home.”

Clanton has lived in Mobile his whole life. He and his wife Rose have been married 34 years, and have two grown sons.

Kevin Watley

”When a home is almost complete, I double-check to make sure that the home is ready for its new owners to move in, and that they will get more home value from their Heritage Home.”

Kevin has been in the construction business for six years. He lives in Gulf Shores, and he has one son.

Frank Lott, Jr.
Frank Lott, Jr. "More of Everything isn't just a slogan at Heritage Homes.   It is what we strive to provide to every customer.  We provide more value with the homes we build.  In addition, we provide more value with the services and attitudes of our employees.  We have built more than 2,400 Heritage Homes that have delivered 'more' to our customers.  Many customers have resold their homes at considerable profits.  A number of our customers have bought more than one home from us.  Currently, more than 50% of our sales are referred to us by satisfied customers."

Prior to founding Heritage Homes, Frank worked in the home components manufacturing industry where he served many large builders.  Frank is involved in many business and civic organizations.  He serves as a director of Whitney Bank, as a director of the Alabama Nature Conservancy and is a past president of the Mobile Rotary Club.
